Collaborating organizations will support the development of the following essential programs to improve the ability of small business owners in the U.S. and Africa to participate in bilateral trade and commerce between the U.S.A., the African Diaspora and the African Continent.

As a result of the issues and recommendations discussed in previous plenary sessions and business roundtable discussions of the Africa USA Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Pan African Global Trade and Investment Conference our Atlanta Chapter will be hosting a series of regional African Global Trade Conferences entitled Destination Africa. The primary mission of our conference series is to establish economic development and cultural exchange programs that promote and facilitate sustainable strategies for bilateral trade, investment, and cultural exchange between the U.S.A., the African Diaspora and the African continent. Conferences will be developed in collaboration with local public and private sector businesses, investors and NGO’s in Africa and the Pan African Diaspora. Targeted industry sectors will include agriculture, oil and gas, manufacturing, health care, education, banking, telecommunications, transportation, tourism, film and entertainment and energy production. We have currently been asked to develop regional conferences in the U.S. and Africa for Nigeria, Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Africa-USA Chamber of Commerce and Industry is pleased to announce that the 9th Annual Pan African Global Trade and Investment Conference will be conducted on October 16-17 2019 at California State University Sacramento in Sacramento,CA. 

 

The Pan African Global Trade and Investment Conference provides an annual opportunity to present, develop and support programs that promote and implement bilateral trade, commerce and foreign direct investment between the United States, the African Diaspora and the nation states of Africa.

 

Delegates from the United States, Africa and the African Diaspora are invited to participate in exhibits, business roundtables and seminars to discuss and implement programs that assist the African Diaspora in becoming full investment partners in Africa’s economic development, facilitate African foreign direct investment in the U.S. and develop businesses that create jobs in urban communities
